Around town, a po' boy and a meeting

Started with breakfast at the restaurant where the chef won 2nd place on Top Chef. It was good, but noisy. It was in a converted warehouse.

Rode all the way on Magazine St and came back via the river. Took the trolley up Canal St to the cemeteries. On the way back we went to a meeting in mid-city. Never did I expect to lead a meeting in New Orleans!

We were too early so asked if there was a place nearby to eat. Totally by accident we stumbled upon Parkway Bakery and Tavern "the oldest and tastiest poor boy shop anywhere." Huge corn beef sandwich served po' boy style. And I got to try the local chips, Zapps.

Back in the French Quarter we listened to music as we walked back to our place.

Tomorrow we head back to CA on the Sunset Limited through Texas, Arizona and New Mexico.
