Bayou adventure
Last night we had followed the gps and could not find what we were looking for. A gentleman stopped us and asked if we were looking for Black Bayou. Imagine that, a van from CA, are they tourists? He told us how to get there because gps "doesn't always get right". Then he followed us making sure we got there!
It closed at sunset so we went back this AM. The pier is waiting to be rebuilt after a flood 3 years ago. The town owns the lake that the refuge uses. Coordinate coordinate coordinate.
