Thursday, 19th
Started with a walk around the neighborhood and along the waterfront. Stopped at the Hotel Grande Bretagne for coffee. Lovely service with china pot and cups, complimentary cake. Sat in the window and watched the world go by.
While waiting for our 10 am orientation we went to a grocery store to look around. Bought john some cereal and milk, fruit for me. I forgot to pack Dove soap, found it.
The UnTours orientation was done by Christo, who has been with untours for 20+ years. He pointed out where to go and what to see. There is a farmers market 2x's a week. Turns out there are only 2 more trips to the island directly from Nafplio. We will be on one of them! We got keys to the car for our use during our stay.
Lunch at a tiny place tucked in the corner of an alley. John went back to the apartment and I walked around some. Lots of eye candy shopping. As usual it does get a bit repetitive.
Dinner was take away I got on the way home, moussaka and dolmas. (Same habits from when we travel in Joy Van.).
This evening something was happening at the church and people in attendance were in Sunday attire.
