Cherokee park near Akron Ohio is a beautiful spot to spend a couple of days. John is off to Walmart to get oil for the PU. He is hoping clean oil will unstick the stuck lifter.

Wednesday the 16th

We are parked in Blue Bay Campground, beside Flathead Lake. The weather chased us out of Glacier. Between rain and sleet, staying anywhere and hiking did not appeal to either of us. We did make the rounds of the eastern boundary, coming back from Alberta. The road into Many Glacier was rough with patches of gravel in spots. Coming down through St Mary and cutting through at Hwy 49 to Two Medicine, the scenery was spectacular. Goat Lick was closed because of the recent Sheep Fire. We came down the Flathead Lake on the opposite shore we went up. We decided to stay here for a couple of days and then head south, homeward. I am looking forward to eating at a Cracker Barrel in Missoula.
